Congratulations to the MIC Winners and Participants
We are thrilled to share the results of this year’s Math is Cool competition. Congratulations to all students for their hard work and excellent performance!
 
Grade 5 – Math is Cool
Three teams from Grade 5 at Samantha Smith Elementary participated in the Math is Cool Champs competition at Liberty High School on March 7th.
School Awards (Division I)
Top 5 Scorers:
Our school has been invited to send one team to the Masters Round for Grade 5. The top 4 scorers—Armin Puranik, Seojoon Oh, Emily Qing, and Eric Lifliand—will represent our school at the Masters Round in Moses Lake on May 16th. Best of luck to our students!
 
Grade 4 – Math is Cool

Teachers & Staff Appreciation Week

Seahawks-themed Staff Appreciation Week is coming soon, May 4-8th! Sign up to bring something or volunteer for set up/clean up! We will be treating the staff to lunches and coffee throughout the week. 

  • TUESDAY 5/5 Bring a flower/plant to your teacher/staff
  • WEDNESDAY 5/6 Write a note of gratitude for the Smith staff
  • THURSDAY 5/7 Shop at Marketplace 6-8 pm for your teachers 
  • FRIDAY 5/8 Bring your teacher/Smith staff gift cards &/or something from their Favorite Things list in the office
